Municipal Assessment Reviews/Appeals

Each property is assigned an assessed value in the province every three years. It is important that all property owners/occupiers have their assessment values reviewed to determine if they are in line with market value, and are equitably assessed as of the base date of the assessment. Through this our clients have reduced their tax burden and added thousands of dollars to their bottom line.

Telecommunications – Site Acquisition

We work with major telecom companies to assist in the site acquisition and public notification process. We also negotiation and obtain easement agreements for several major utility related companies.

Rental analysis

We can provide qualified estimates for market rents for all types of properties (i.e. residential, office, warehouse space). This would involve understanding the subject’s property (i.e. size, location, condition) and analysing comparable rents to estimate the subject’s market rent.

We can provide opinions of market value for Revenue Canada purposes.

Expropriation is the right of government to take fee simple or partial interest in private property for public use upon the payment of just compensation.
